About this page
This first collection brings together verified book identities and source-based profiles. It is an alphabetical catalogue, with further titles and full reviews still to come.
Browse by the work you want to do
This SEO book list spans introductory learning, strategy, technical work, link building and AI search. Search by a title or an author’s name, then use the subject filter to narrow the shelf. A book can belong to several subjects; the filters describe its scope rather than its rank.
If you prefer help choosing a starting point, explore our guides to beginner books, advanced SEO books and AI-search books. Each book profile identifies the sources examined and the edition information available.
Match the author and edition
Similar titles can describe different books. Peter Kent’s SEO For Dummies is separate from Nathan Gotch’s AI SEO for Dummies. Kent’s author page identifies a seventh edition from 2020; Wiley lists Gotch’s first edition for September 2026. Check the author’s edition notes and publisher’s listing when comparing copies.
Treat paperback, ebook and audio listings as formats to investigate. A familiar cover or shortened title alone may not identify the edition you want. Where an ISBN is verified, a profile can help you match that particular copy.
Looking for Nathan Gotch’s books?
The collection currently includes a profile of AI SEO for Dummies. Nathan’s author website also lists The SEO Entrepreneur, which does not yet have a profile here.
Nathan owns Top SEO Books, and this publication supports promotion of his book. Our editorial policy explains that relationship and the distinction between factual coverage and an independent assessment.
Help extend the shelves
This is an initial collection, not an exhaustive bibliography. The contact page explains the title, author, edition and source information needed for a book suggestion. Its submission channel is still being prepared.
